DESCRIPTION
I had to paint a "portrait" of my favorite Blue Willow piece. My Wedgewood platter is from England and was made about 1891. The four corners of the painting have the manufacturer's marking that is on the back of the platter. The color of Blue Willow can vary, but I mixed these blues to match my platter exactly. If you are hooked on blue and white, as I am, a print of this will satisfy your "hunger" for more Blue Willow! |
